I’m 84, Donna is 93. I’m at some festival to perform. Donna stayed home to work in the garden that is now a lush paradise of plants.
Once at the festival, we are locked down, again, with another COVID-19 mutation. Most of the performers had already arrived. We all know the drill as we’ve all been through this so many times. We decide to do a ‘round robin’ to entertain ourselves. Most of us are older and ‘old hats’ at this having played locked down festivals more than once. One duo, twins in their late 70’s come on to me and offer a little Ménage à trois, which I refuse. I’m not going to start screwing around now after all these years! I play cards with some other friends instead.
I woke up.
