I’m sitting at a long table with some other people in the back entrance of a building
We’re working on some sort of project involving paperwork, forms
I get a phone call from a lady that says, “I’m told you are a creative person and that you are good with design.”
I said, “Yes. What can I help you with?”
“I’ve been reading this **** series of books on God. I understand you’ve read them also?”
“Yes. It’s been a while, but I remember them.”
“Well, I’ve been thinking about making a T-shirt about God and Heaven. Do you have any ideas?”
I thought about it for a minute and said, “Yes. How about this one? ‘My friend died and went to Heaven, and all I got was this lousy T-shirt’?”
She hung up on me.
Someone in the group at the table looked at the parking area behind us and said, “Looks like the Gamers are arriving. We have to give up our table to them. Let’s pack it up.”
I gather my things, walking back through and out the building to the car where Donna is waiting. I put my folders in the back seat on the floor. There is someone’s child sitting there in the back. “We’ll be giving a ride to a few people today,” Donna says.
“Okay with me. Oh! I see Paco and Ralph. I want to tell them something,” I said.
I walk across the parking lot between cars. Paco and Ralph don’t see me and walk to the side of the building. I adjust my direction and find Manju is just there with his station wagon that he called home, next to the building. The station wagon has been gutted. “You cleaned it all out,” I say.
Manju says, “Yeah, I needed to start over and improve it.”
“Okay. There’s Paco.” I turn to cross back into the parking.
Paco is holding a small balloon on a string. “Watch this,” he says as he lets it go. The balloon floats quickly up and out of sight. He laughs.
He has another and does the same. We all lean against the car and watch him release one balloon after another.
I see a man in the distance selling balloons.
“Hey,” I said. “I just got hung up on by a lady for telling her an idea for a T-shirt. I think she may have been offended.”
“What was it?” Paco asked as he released another balloon.
I wake up
