Penguin meat

Posted on January 21, 2022January 30, 2023

3 am 20/1/22

I’m outside

Lots of trees in this parking lot.

My boss was returning from some big event.

He told me they served penguins and that it cost him a lot of money

I asked how much.

He said $56 and handed me a bag that had some meat in it and asked me to have the chef at the resort we were at cut it into smaller pieces. Fillet sized.

When we opened it, it looked more like fish to me.

I went into the large hall.

I’ve been here before in another dream, I thought.

Wooden floors, several enormous rooms.

I was in sock feet and could feel them sliding as I walked on the polished surface

But I had to be careful, someone’s dog had left little balls of poop in a few places.

Someone was cleaning them and mopping the floor

I made my way back to the kitchen

As I reached the double doors a young lady/waitress popped out, took the platter with the bag, said “Thank you” and quickly turned and went back in.

I chased after her saying, “Wait, wait, wait!”

She stopped, and I said, “My boss wanted this cut into fillets!”

“Oh, okay.”

We walked through the hallway arriving at the kitchen where a black chef was lounging. He was surrounded by several pretty ladies. I think he was telling a story.

The waitress hands him the platter and says, “He would like this cut into smaller fillets”

I say, “My boss said it was a penguin and that he paid way too much money for it.”

The chef takes the platter and says! “This is actually chicken reconstituted to look like fish. Sure. Be right back”

He was quick.

I walk back out the hall with a bag with several foil-covered pieces.

In the big rooms, I pass through two rooms.

Most of the dog droppings are gone. The cleaner person was not there but they left the wet mop laying on the floor.

Plenty of room in this enormous hall. I’ve been here before. I feel my sock feet sliding as I walk.

I wake up
