Only thing,
that I know
Is I don’t know
One damn thing
When will people understand
That we’re really all the same
Each blindly searching hidden clues
On how to play the game
We think we have the answers
We think we know the truth
There’s always someone there
To say ‘your wrong, and here’s my proof’
so…
Only thing,
that I know
Is I don’t know
One damn thing
People think they are unique
But make the same mistakes
They’ll scratch and claw to get ahead
And preach ‘that’s what it takes’
I can’t climb the ladder
Stepping on somebody’s head
We all get born the same way
And in the end, we end up dead.
so…
Only thing,
that I know
Is I don’t know
One damn thing

I had this little ditty banging around my head for a while before I laid it down. It has such a nice funky groove! I do like the funk. I would say that my music, in general, has quite a bit of the funk in it, a good splash of rock, and seasoned with a generous portion of strange. The only thing that I know for sure is that I really don’t know anything. When I think I know something I am proven to be mistaken… except about a few basics like caring, loving, sharing, but that is really all that matters anyway! Or so I think.
